Studying abroad is an exciting opportunity, but it can also bring challenges for students and families living many miles apart. Our role is to provide reassurance, guidance and practical support whenever students need it.
Working alongside students, parents, schools and Host Families, we help ensure every student feels safe, supported and valued throughout their educational journey.
Many guardianship agencies sound the same on paper. Oakbridge is built differently: a small, director-led organisation where parents, students and schools reach named people — not a rotating desk.
Our director spent five years as UK boarding school staff — pastoral and residential roles, not back-office admin — before founding Oakbridge. We extend a parent’s reach in the UK with professional oversight and documented policies. We do not replace a school’s pastoral team.

A qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead leads the organisation. When a student is under Oakbridge care, families and schools use one UK duty number — 07871 233656 — including evenings, weekends and school holidays.
Close oversight and clear communication, not a national call centre. The people you speak to are the people accountable for the student’s care.
Host families pass safer recruitment — references, home visits, and enhanced DBS checks for every household member aged 16 or over. We do not use informal hosting or private-fostering arrangements.
